Jubel Festival

Veltha

Jubel Festival was founded in 2018 by Alain Deneef and various young activists with experience in civic movements. Jubel Festival is the first democracy festival organised at the European level. It is inspired by the longstanding Scandinavian and Baltic tradition of outdoor ‘democracy festivals’ to proclaim European democracy by enabling and creating a space for debates, exchanges among different social and
political groups.
Stand Up for Europe is a privileged partner having participated in two editions.

Jubel Festival is morphing into a permanent all-year-long indoor festival: 'Jubel In.'
Stand Up is one of the key actors and partners in organising participatory workshops, debates, and youth-targeted events.
